Pre-Shipment Inspection Checklist for Rechargeable Fans
Pre-shipment inspection helps confirm that finished goods match the approved sample and purchase specification before the balance payment and container loading.
1. Order and quantity verification
Check purchase order number, model, color, quantity, packaging version and production completion. Count master cartons and compare carton quantities with the packing list.
Separate finished goods from unfinished or rejected units before sampling.
2. Appearance and assembly
Inspect grille alignment, blade condition, plastic color, metal finish, logo position, scratches, gaps, loose parts, base stability, height adjustment and oscillation movement.
Compare workmanship with the approved sample and agreed defect limits.
3. Functional testing
Test every speed, timer, remote control, oscillation, display, lighting, USB output and other confirmed functions. For mist fans, check pump operation, spray output, tank sealing and leakage.
Listen for abnormal noise and vibration at different speeds.
4. Charging and battery checks
Verify adapter rating, charging indicator, charging connector and basic battery voltage. Select samples for longer operation tests based on the agreed inspection plan.
Confirm that the included adapter, cable and solar panel match the approved specification.
5. Accessories, labels and manuals
Check accessory quantity, remote batteries where applicable, screws, tools, adapters, solar cables and spare parts. Verify rating label, barcode, model number, warnings and manual language.
Accessories should be secured so they cannot damage the fan during transport.
6. Packaging and shipment readiness
Inspect inner protection, carton strength, sealing, shipping marks, carton dimensions and gross weight. Conduct agreed carton drop or handling checks when required.
Photograph finished cartons, pallet condition and container loading. Record any corrective action before release.
