How to Choose a Rechargeable Fan for Wholesale
A wholesale buyer should not choose a rechargeable fan by appearance or price alone. The right model must fit local power conditions, climate, customer expectations, sales channel and after-sales capability.
Choose the target use first
Start with where the product will be used: bedrooms, shops, outdoor areas, power-cut backup, camping, restaurants or light-commercial spaces. A compact table fan and a 16-inch pedestal fan may use similar battery language, but they serve very different customers.
Tell the supplier your target market, main use, expected retail price and preferred sales channel. This helps narrow the model before discussing minor features.
Compare usable airflow, not only motor wattage
Motor wattage alone does not prove cooling performance. Ask for blade size, speed levels, air-delivery test information and a product video showing low, medium and high settings.
For wholesale selection, compare noise, stability and airflow at the same distance. A strong top speed is useful, but customers may value quiet low-speed operation for nighttime use.
Check the complete battery specification
Request battery chemistry, cell quantity, rated voltage, rated capacity in mAh or Ah, and total energy in Wh. Capacity claims should match the physical battery configuration and the fan power requirement.
Ask whether the runtime was tested at minimum speed, maximum speed or a mixed setting. A single large runtime number without test conditions is not enough for purchasing decisions.
Confirm charging methods and local compatibility
Check adapter input, output voltage, plug type, charging time and whether the fan can operate while charging. For solar models, confirm panel wattage, connector type and realistic charging conditions.
Voltage, frequency and plug requirements should be confirmed before production. Packaging and manuals should use the correct local language and electrical information.
Review safety and durability details
Inspect the grille spacing, base stability, oscillation, height adjustment, cable quality, battery protection, charging temperature and control-panel durability. For mist fans, also check tank sealing, pump operation and water leakage risk.
A sample should be tested repeatedly before a bulk order. Do not rely only on a showroom demonstration.
Evaluate packaging and supplier support
Ask for carton dimensions, net weight, gross weight, loading quantity and internal protection. Large fans can look attractive online but become expensive if packaging is inefficient or damage rates are high.
A suitable supplier should provide clear specifications, sample support, OEM options, inspection cooperation, spare-part planning and consistent communication throughout production.
